A gay man from the United Kingdom, who is popular for his YouTube
videos, lied to police about being attacked in the United States. 26-year-old Calum McSwiggan told his fans and followers on social
networks that he had suffered a brutal beating from three homophobic
attackers after leaving a nightclub.

He wrote on Instagram, that the attack that took place in Hollywood,
California, resulted in three broken teeth and a gash on his forehead,
which needed 6 stitches.

However, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said that McSwiggan caused the injuries to himself.

Police said that before filing the complaint of the attack, McSwiggan
was arrested for vandalizing cars, and his mugshot, which police
released, shows no visible injuries.

and uploaded it to the Internet, and told his fans about the attack.
