Man arrested for stealing ready meals from his grandmother’s freezer

While many grandmothers enjoy when their grandchildren come over for
meals, one man was arrested for taking the meals without permission. The 34-year-old man entered his grandmother’s home and stole prepared meals from her freezer.
Police were called to the home in New Mexico, and as they attempted to arrest Jonathan Saiz, he resisted.

Saiz is accused of sticking his thumb into a police officer’s eye while resisting arrest.

Officers said that they found a gun and several glass pipes with drug
residue in Saiz’s pocket. His bond was set at $10,000 due to his past
record of “similar nature,” the judge said.
