Man recorded raping unconscious teen on street near garbage bin outside restaurant

A man was arrested on a charge of sexual battery after allegedly raping an unconscious teen outside in the street near a garbage bin, according to police in Florida.

Gainesville police said that they have arrested 34-year-old Christopher Shaw, after two people saw him raping the unconscious 19-year-old woman outside a restaurant.

Shaw was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $500,000.

The two witnesses told investigators that the woman was unable to walk by herself, could not keep her eyes open and had difficulty speaking.

The two witnesses recorded the criminal act and then separated the victim and the suspect.

When the woman regained consciousness in a hospital several hours later, she told police that she does not know Shaw and did not consent to have sex with him.

She also said that at one point, she tried to push him away, but was physically helpless because she was going in and out of consciousness due to her level of intoxication.

Shaw denied the charges, saying that he walked down the street and the victim pulled him behind the garbage bin. He admitted to making out with the victim, but denied any sexual contact with her.

His statement is completely at odds with the video and the testimony of the victim, police said. The video shows that the victim was mentally and physically incapable of giving consent because of her level of intoxication.

The victim was falling over and unable to hold her head. The victim also had her eyes closed the entire time.
