A man was arrested on a charge of murder after allegedly killing his
roommates because they were alcoholics and he was fed up of their
parties, according to police in Russia.
St. Petersburg police said that they have arrested the 64-year-old man,
who was not identified, after eating his dead roommates and flushing
body parts down the toilet, causing the sewer drain to get clogged.
Plumbers made the gruesome discovery while trying to unclog the sewer drain.
They alerted the police, who were able to trace the body parts to an
apartment complex on Culture Avenue, where the suspect confessed to
killing the couple who shared his unit.
He told investigators that his roommates were alcoholics, and he was
sick and tired of their constant partying. After killing the couple, he
dismembered them and cooked their heads on the stove.
