Man high on meth drives to hospital with dead friend who overdosed on drugs

Police launched an investigation after a man who was high on drugs, drove his dead friend to a hospital after falling unconscious following a drug overdose, according to police in Australia.

Perth police said that the driver, who was not identified, arrived with his dead friend at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, on Friday around 2:30 p.m.

Police were called to the scene, and determined that the 44-year-old man died of a drug overdose.

Witnesses at the scene said that the driver was high on meth and did not realize that his friend was already dead for some time.

Doctors at the hospital did not tell the driver that his friend was dead as he was very anxious about the health of the 44-year-old man.

The main entrances of the hospital was closed for several hours as the driver parked his vehicle right outside the emergency room doors and police cordoned the area as a crime scene.
