College student who was given permission to dress as Adolf Hitler wins best dressed prize

A college official in Australia, apologized as said that she is devastated for allowing a student to dress as Adolf Hitler for a contest.

The student of the St. Philip’s College in Alice Springs, went on to win the best dressed prize for dressing as the Nazi leader.

The principal of the college, Roger Herbert, said that a respected member of the school allowed the student to dress as Hitler, but she is now devastated.

Herbert added that the woman is shattered, and he is concerned about her wellbeing. Officials apologized to the other students who were offended by the Hitler costume.

St. Philip’s College said in a statement that it was an innocent mistake and a very distressing lesson for all concerned.
