A mother was arrested for shooting a man who was in her daughter’s bedroom.
The 34-year-old mother shot the 31-year-old man in front of her teenage daughter.
Police in Oklahoma, said that Valerie Fowler, shot the man after seeing him in her daughter’s bedroom in the morning.
Officers did not say what the two were doing in the bedroom. They did however say that the girl and the man were friends.
The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound, was able to run out of the home and ask a neighbor for help.
Officers who arrived at the scene at about 7:20 a.m., found the victim on the neighbor’s porch, where he was treated before being airlifted to the Oklahoma City Hospital.
Police said that the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The mother of the teenager was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
