A mother has been arrested after allegedly bedding the son she described as being “handsome” on Facebook.
Melissa ‘Missy’ Kitchens, 44, has now been charged with incest along with her son, Shaun Thomas Pfeiffer, 25. The couple were both arrested earlier this month.
In police documents, it’s claimed she had sex with her son in August. Her son Pfeiffer has also been charged with being intoxicated and disruptive, indecent liberties with a child and communicating threats.

Arrest documents claim the mother and son slept together in August. He lives with his wife Shannon Roman and his mother in Asheville, North Carolina, US.
The mum has previously written on Facebook while commenting on a picture of her son: “Can’t get over how handsome you are.”
She also wrote on social media: “Just trying To Brighten The Mood—- Things are Very Stressful and I Love You and I Respect Any Decision— As Long as your Happy and Safe………. I miss you& wish I had more time w you…… Your Very Valuable and Hopefully The Stresses—- Will get better.”

Pfeiffer, who has a young son with Shannon, is due in court at the end of the month. Pfeiffer is being held on £53,405 bail, according to the Buncombe County Jail.
Kitchens is being held on £22,725.
