A man was arrested on a charge of sexual assault after allegedly luring a woman to his car, where he licked her foot, according to police in Japan.
Kyoto police said that they have arrested 56-year-old Akira Nishiyama, after being accused of licking the 20-year-old woman’s toes for 30 minutes.
In court, Nishiyama pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual assault.
There were several reports of similar attacks in the area, and police are investigating whether Nishiyama was behind the sexual assaults.
According to the police, Nishiyama told the woman that he needed help with his car, and asked her to check the brakes for him.
After the woman sat into the car, Nishiyama grabbed her right foot, removed her sandal and began to lick the sole of her bare foot.
The woman, was unable to run away as the suspect held onto her foot. Nishiyama said “thank you” before letting her go after about 30 minutes.
The woman managed to use her cellphone to record the attack.
She also memorized the car’s license plate number.
