Woman punches man in the face because he honked his car’s horn at McDonald’s drive-thru window

 A McDonald’s customer who shot a man at the drive-thru window, will not face any charges after police determined that the shooter acted in self defense, according to police in Florida.

Hialeah police said that they have arrested 21-year-old Sergio Hernandez and his girlfriend, Vanessa Puente, 20, after being accused of punching the face of 22-year-old Victor Hugo Saavedra.

Hernandez and Puente were charged with battery.

Puente was also charged with witness tampering because she slapped the shooter’s cellphone out of his hand as he called police to report the assault.

According to the police investigation, Hernandez and Puente were at the McDonald’s drive-thru window when Saavedra honked the horn of his car.

Puente got out of her car and confronted Saavedra. When Saavedra got out of his car, Puente punched him in the face several times.

As he tried calling 911, Puente slapped the cellphone out of Saavedra’s hands. Hernandez the joined his girlfriend to beat Saavedra.

Fearing for his life, Saavedra pulled out his licensed weapon and shot Hernandez once. Hernandez was taken to the Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
