Noor Salman, the widow of Pulse shooter Omar Mateen, has been arrested in California, where she faces charges for aiding and abetting, as well as obstruction of justice. After her husband killed 49 people inside Orlando’s gay nightclub this June, Salam relocated to San Francisco and will make her first appearance tomorrow.

During the massacre, Salman was communicating with Mateen through text messages, at one point exchanging, “I love you’s,” according to CBS News. She also reported to the FBI that her husband had become radicalized in the year prior to the 2016 attack, which saw Mateen vocally pledging allegiance to ISIS throughout.

Salman has long been a key suspect in the Florida attack. Law enforcement sources have previously investigated her purchasing ammunition with Mateen and driving with her husband to Orlando nightclub as he planned his mass murder. Though she told the FBI she tried stopping him, officials are concerned Salman had prior knowledge of the massacre, but never reached out to law enforcement to stop Mateen.
