Nigeria’s President Buhari notifies parliament of his return

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has signed a letter officially notifying parliament of his return, the presidency’s official Twitter account said on Monday.

It follows his return on Saturday after three months of medical leave in Britain for an unspecified illness. Buhari, who left on May 7, handed over power to his deputy, Yemi Osinbajo, in his absence.
