Tinubu meets Wamakko, Tambuwal in Sokoto

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and Chairman, Presidential APC Reconciliation Committee, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in Sokoto  on Saturday.

During the visit he met  with Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, Zonal National Vice Chairman, Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir and the state Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu.

Although, the meeting which did not last more than an hour‎, seem to be the foundation of his committee’s efforts  to reach out to members in order to re-position the party.

Shortly after the  meeting held behind closed doors, the former Lagos state Governor told journalists that the meeting was purely a family affair to further rejuvenate good ties and relationship among stakeholders for the future of Nigeria and APC’s prosperity.

According to Tinubu ” It is all about family affairs for our today, tomorrow, Nigeria and our great party.”

The National leader declined to give details of the meeting held at the Gawon Nama, personal residence of Senator Wamakko.
