Adamawa, Imo, Plateau get new police commissioners

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the posting of new Commissioners of Police to Adamawa, Imo and Plateau States.

This was made known in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, DCP Frank Mba, on Tuesday.

According to the statement, postings to states and formations are as follows Adamawa State –  CP Olugbenga Adeyanju, FDC; Imo State  –  CP Isaac Olutayo Akinmoyede, FDC; Plateau State –  CP Edward Chuka Egbuka and FCID, FHQ, Abuja  – CP Audu Adamu Madaki.

“While enjoining the citizens of the affected States to accord the CPs maximum support and cooperation, the IGP charges the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors.

“The postings are with immediate effect,” the statement reads.
