Buhari congratulates General AB Mamma on 80th birthday

President Muhammadu Buhari has offered best wishes to His Royal Highness, Major-Gen. Abdullahi Mamman (Rtd), a member of the defunct Armed Forces Ruling Council (AFRC) and erstwhile Minister of Internal Affairs, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

The President recognised Gen. AB Mamman’s strong sense of duty and service to Nigeria throughout the length of his career as a military officer, distinguishing himself as a courageous and dependable commander at various levels, from troop and brigade Commander, to Commander, Corps of Artillery and Commandant, Command and Staff College, Jaji.

As the Etsu Nyaba Chiefdom in Niger State, President Buhari applauded the elder statesman for bringing his many years of experience as a military officer, businessman and administrator to bear in handling the affairs of his community, working tirelessly to promote peace, prosperity and social cohesion.

The President prayed God almighty to bless the traditional ruler  with more years of health and happiness.
