Photos: Tinubu Visits Osinbajo In Abuja

The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has visited Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at his Aguda residence in Abuja.

He was accompanied by the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu among others.
Tinubu’s Thursday visit followed his emergence as the ruling party’s presidential candidate in the just-concluded special convention of the APC held at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The former Lagos Governor defeated a former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, Osinbajo, and others, to secure the APC ticket for next year’s general elections.

Since his victory,  congratulatory messages have continued to pour in from other contenders, state governors, party chieftains, and some members of the opposition.

Less than two days after Tinubu’s win, Vice President Osinbajo sent his congratulatory message to the former Lagos governor who is considered his political mentor.

“I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at our party primaries and his emergence as the Presidential Candidate and Flagbearer of our great party, the APC for the forthcoming 2023 Presidential Elections,” he said in a statement in which he also lauded the APC chieftain’s sterling credentials.

“To all members of our great party, regardless of who you voted for at the primaries, we must now unite behind our Presidential Candidate and Flagbearer to ensure victory for our party in the 2023 elections,” Osinbajo added.
