Illegal botox, filling procedures has become public health problem in our country –

President of the Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association, Op. Dr. Derviş Akbilen noted that illegal botox and filler applications have become a public health problem in our country.

Akbilen emphasized that it is vital that medical aesthetic procedures such as botox, filling, mesotherapy, rope suspension and hair transplantation are performed by specialist doctors who are members of the Medical Association.

Akbilen noted that medical procedures performed by fugitive doctors who are not members of the Medical Association, and even by people who are not doctors, have reached an uncontrolled and dangerous level.

ILLEGAL FILLING APPLICATIONS HAS BECOME A PUBLIC HEALTH PROBLEM

Akbilen, in his written statement, stated that illegal botox and filler applications, which emerged with the police raid the previous day, have now become a public health problem.

Akbilen stated that the medical procedures performed by people who come from abroad, who are not members of the Medical Association, who are not even fugitive doctors or even doctors in some beauty salons, have reached an uncontrolled and dangerous level.

It is vital that medical aesthetic procedures such as hangers and hair transplants are performed by doctors of dermatology and plastic surgery branches, who are members of the TRNC Medical Association and subject to its rules, within clinical and health institutions, who have received the training of this practice during their specialization and are prepared for complications that may occur and have the training to solve them.

“PERSONS WITH NO REGISTRATION SHOULD NOT BE RESPECTED”

It is unclear what medical equipment they use for patients who enter the country illegally at the weekend, have no records, are collected from social media or by patient brokers such as some beauty salon owners, and who want these people not to be respected, who put them illegally on the island, leave the island after the procedure and leave the patients alone with possible complications.

Akbilen thanked everyone, especially the members of the police, who took part in the emergence of one of the places that carried out illegal operations with this successful operation.
