Public Unions Strike Continues In Nicosia and Kyrenia

The strike launched by the Cyprus Turkish Public Servants Union (KTAMS), the Public Workers Union (Kamu-İş), the Public Servants Union (KamuSen) and the Revenue and Tax Office Employees’ Union (Tax-Sen), due to the lack of personnel, continues today. is doing.

The strike of the unions in Nicosia Traffic Department Licenses Unit and Girne Driving Licenses Unit continues.

In his statement to TAK, KTAMS President Güven Bengihan stated that the strike continues today due to insufficient personnel being sent.

Stating that Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı and Director of Traffic Department Mustafa Yeşil called them yesterday, Bengihan said that they said that the personnel shortage would be resolved.

Bengihan said, “There is no such thing at the moment,” and that they will suspend the strike if the lack of personnel is eliminated.

4 unions expanded the strike they started in Nicosia Traffic Department Licenses Unit on Thursday last week, and went on strike in Kyrenia Driving Licenses Unit next to Nicosia.
