During the security and traffic inspections held in Nicosia last night, 227 vehicle drivers were reported for various crimes and 28 vehicles were banned from traffic.
In Nicosia, between 22:00 and 02.00 last night, security and traffic control was carried out within the responsibility area of the Nicosia Police Department.
Within the scope of the inspections, nightclubs operating in the region and places where the people are concentrated were checked, and it was reported that no negativity was detected.
In the inspections carried out in the casinos, 19 people who were forbidden to enter and stay in the casino were identified and legal action was taken against them.
As a result of the inspections carried out by the traffic teams, 550 vehicles were checked and 227 vehicle drivers who were found to have committed crimes were reported for various crimes, 28 vehicles were banned from traffic.
