We cannot ignore incidents involving African students as perpetrators, victims – Tufan Erhürman

CTP Chairman Tufan Erhürman pointed out that the incidents in which African students were perpetrators or victims were experienced one after another, and stated that the problem cannot be ignored.

In his social media post, Erhürman wrote: “It’s a sensitive issue in many ways. But it’s not like it can be passed on by keeping quiet. We can’t ignore it. In recent days, incidents in which African students are perpetrators or victims have been coming one after another in our country. This situation started to alarm in terms of security, humanity, equality/discrimination and universities. There is a need for a scientifically based, large-scale study in which all stakeholders will be involved, and urgent measures are needed!.”
