Various activities are held within the scope of the 25th Orientation Days for new students joining the EMU family.
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) every year in order to support the newly joined students to adapt to campus life and the city of Famagusta in the best way possible, many events are organized within the scope of the 25th Orientation Days organized by the EMU Rectorate.
Organized under the communication sponsorship of Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell. At EMU Orientation Days, on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 19.00, an Open Air Cinema Show and Karaoke event was held in the garden of EMU 2 Dormitory; while Headphone Game and Team Games activities was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 21.30.
The students had a great time with the DJ performance on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 21.00. On Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 19.00, Open Air Cinema Show and Karaoke Event was held again.
EMU 25th Orientation Days will continue until Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Seminar on Security in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was given by the General Directorate of Police on September 30, 2022, at 10.30 am at Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall.
EMU Psychological Counseling, Guidance and Research Center held seminars. Students who could not find the opportunity to attend these seminars will be able to take the said seminars in the same hall on October 10, 2022, at the same time.
After the start of the course on October 3, 2022, a campus tour will be held on October 6, 2022, starting in front of the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate building.
Famagusta Tour on 7 October 2022 and then at 19.00, Cyprus Night event will be held at EMU Atatürk Square.
The 2022-2023 Academic Year Opening Ceremony will be held at Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall on October 11, 2022 at 10:00. In the evening of the same day, at 19.00, a ‘Welcome Night’ event will take place at EMU Atatürk Square.
It has been reported that all parents are also invited to the Welcome Night event. This event will include faculty and college promotions, student clubs promotions, concerts and stage performances.
In addition to the program, faculty information seminars for students will also be held.
