No incentives are applied in fuel – Alişan Şan

Minister of Finance Alişan Şan noted that the incentives were divided into three, and said that they were applied by examining them pencil by pencil. Şan noted that no incentives are applied in fuel oil.

Finance Minister responding to criticism about the economy Alişan Şan said, “Although our economy is not registered, we still have serious income in the parts where it is registered. Many sectors in the country are working to the fullest despite all the difficulties. This is the voice of the street, it is the truth” he said.

Referring to the tender for Güngör Dumpster, Şan said, “We tried to sell the garbage that has accumulated in 29 years and will come from now on. How many were burned, how many were damaged? The government does not want to harm institutions. This was the reason for our cancellation. It is my duty to reopen this tender,” he said.

Speaking about the tender for Kıb-Tek, Şan said, “Every issue should be evaluated on its own. We must consider the Procurement Law and its statutes. It is necessary to update them, taking into account the complaints,” he said.

Answering Şahali’s question about the salary payments of the deputies, Şan said, “Turkey does not pay any of our salaries. Thank God, the Ministry of Finance is making its payments with its own ability.”

Şan said that there are 3 separate incentives for the Incentive Law, for those coming from the tourism sector and for projects with sources from abroad.

He stated that there is an exemption from VAT and customs in those coming from the Incentive Law, that there is a customs exemption in tourism incentives, and that there is both VAT and customs exemption in projects that come from abroad.

Şan said that the incentives are applied by examining the pen and pencil, and that no incentives are applied in fuel oil.
