The population of the country, which was determined as 286 thousand 257 in the census made on December 4, 2011, was calculated as 391 thousand according to the 2021 year-end projection.

The crude birth rate, which was calculated as 20.20 (per thousand) in 1977, was calculated as 9.34 (per thousand) in 2021.

When the number of deaths by gender is examined, it has been determined that the total number of deaths has increased over the years and that the number of deaths for men is higher than for women.
