After close to two days of investigation, Apple’s iCloud security system has refused to take the fall in the shocking leaked nude photos scandal which targeted top Hollywood stars early this week.
‘Games of Throne’ actress, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and other celebs including ‘Spiderman’ actress Kirsten Dunsts had their personal accounts invaded by hackers. Some of the stars threw the blame on Apple for being ‘careless’.
According to TMZ, Apple now says their research shows the hackers broke into each celeb’s iCloud and/or iPhone accounts by using actual usernames, passwords and security codes.
The company insists it was not a breach, and says it’s working with law enforcement to find the people responsible.
