Dunkin’ Donuts worker pours bleach on old donuts before serving them to teens

Police launched an investigation after an employee at Dunkin’ Donuts gave teens donuts that contained cleaning solution and bleach, according to police in Virginia.

Fairfax County police said that on Monday, a group of teens came to the Dunkin’ Donuts, which is located in the 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road, to ask for free donuts.

The teens told investigators that employees of the store gave them free donuts in the past as they couldn’t be sold to customers.

Someone in the store refused their request multiple times, but finally relented and told the teen to come back later in the day.

Before the teens returned to pick up the free donuts, the employee poured a cleaning solution containing bleach on them.

When the teens came, the employee gave them the contaminated donuts. Some of the teens ate an entire donut before they realized that something was wrong with the food.

They immediately called the police, but so far, no arrests have been made. The employee who gave the donuts to the teens, was fired.
