Heartless thieves steal prosthetic leg of 4-year-old boy while he was at the beach for the first time

The family members of a little boy in California, issued a plea, asking for heartless thieves to return a stolen prosthetic leg.
Amanda McFarland and Frank Brenes took their family to the Crystal Cove State Beach Sunday morning.
Their son, Liam, 4, was born without the fibula bone, and had his leg amputated when he was 1 year old. He was fitted with a prosthetic leg.
On Sunday, Liam was at the beach for the first time in his life.
He went into the water with an old prosthetic leg, but when he returned, he found that thieves have taken all his stuff including his prosthetic leg.
Liam’s parents looked in all the dumpsters for the leg, but they could not find it. They then issued a public appeal, and urged the thieves to return their child’s leg.
Police launched an investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made.
