Man fights with alligator to rescue fallen iPhone containing his 10-month-old son’s photos

A couple in Florida, who dropped their iPhone while walking on a
bridge, fought with an alligator in order to retrieve their device as it
contained photos of their baby.

Anthony Larrimore of Cape Coral, explored the Six Mile Cypress Slough
Preserve with his girlfriend, when they saw the alligator crawling under
the wooden bridge.

Larrimore started taking pictures of the alligator with his iPhone when
it fell just a few feet away from the reptile. Larrimore acted quickly
to try to save the phone because it contained almost every baby picture
of his 10-month-old son.

He grabbed sticks and pushed the phone further away from the alligator.
When the phone was 5 feet away from the alligator, Larrimore grabbed it.

The entire incident was recorded on video and was uploaded to the
Internet. The video shows the alligators crawling on top of the phone
before moving away from it.
