The 49 victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Fla., were shot a total of more than 200 times, newly released autopsies show, with all but two suffering multiple gunshot wounds, officials said. One man was shot 10 times and another 13, according to the examinations.

Officials in Orange County, Fla., revealed details from the last 18 victims’ autopsies on Monday. They had previously released 31 autopsies, along with that of the shooter, Omar Mateen, on Friday.

The autopsies do not indicate if any of the victims were accidentally shot by law enforcement on June 12, the Orlando Sentinel reported, or if anyone died as police negotiated with Mateen for three hours.

Mateen’s autopsy revealed that he was shot eight times in a shootout with police and that he wasn’t wearing a protective vest, but a plaid, short-sleeved, button-down shirt, tan pants and a gun holster, the Miami Herald reported.

The autopsy also showed that most of the bullets that hit Mateen came from in front of him, but that two were fired from behind and struck him in the leg and foot.

Though law enforcement officials earlier said Mateen was likely a long-term user of steroids, the Herald reported, a toxicology report released Friday showed his hormone levels below normal levels of abuse.
