She asked for understanding, but all she got was crickets.

The Brooklyn woman cops want to arrest for tossing crickets on a crowded D train during rush hour recorded a bizarre Facebook Live video in which she said she feared for her life and wished her bizarre performance art had gone down differently.

“There are people that really hate me…probably want me dead. I don’t want that. That’s not the type of attention I wanted,” said Zaida Pugh, 21.

“I just really had a dream and I wanted it to go far. I wanted to spread messages out there, and I didn’t want it to happen like this.”

“I don’t know what’s going to happen to me,” she said.

“My dreams for being an actress or whatever, that’s going to go down the drain…There are people after me. Want to kill me.”

Responses to Pugh were mixed.

“Girl bye! You and those crocodile tears can get on! Still don’t care. I hope they lock you up, dummy,” one commenter wrote.

“We all make mistakes and I pray that you get another chance to do what you love… it got waaaaay out of hand tho. We are dealing with enough drama in the world.. this message or prank didn’t need to happen,” wrote another.

But none seemed to have a grasp on the message of Pugh’s performance, which she previously said was meant to highlight how the homeless are treated.

“Just be strong nothing can happen to you, you were just acting out its not that serious,” a commenter wrote.
