Walmart developing self driving shopping cart equipped with video cameras

Walmart announced that it is developing a shopping cart that will drive itself to its customers and will be equipped with video cameras.

The store revealed in a patent filing that customers will be able to call a shopping cart through a mobile application similar to Uber.

The shopping carts will be equipped with sensors, and those that are empty, will drive themselves to the waiting customers.

The best part of the self driving shopping carts is that they will be able to drive themselves back to the store from customers’ cars in the parking lot.

Customers will also be able to upload their shopping list to the shopping carts and it will guide them through the store to pick up the items.
