The child abuse case against Brad Pitt has been closed by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

“This is it. They found nothing. They did a full investigation and found no patterns of abuse,” a source told the Daily News Wednesday. “He was cleared.”

The “Moneyball” actor had been under investigation by the Los Angeles County DCFS for an alleged drunken incident with his eldest son, Maddox, aboard a flight in September.

The 15-year-old boy had initially refused to see his father as part of a temporary custody agreement, but eventually conceded and met with Pitt with a therapist present.

Angelina Jolie was interviewed by the FBI for four hours before the case was passed over to DCFS.

“The job of the DCFS is to make sure the children are in a safe and secure situation. As we said earlier this week, childcare professionals encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides that was in the best interest of the children,” a representative for the actress said in a statement.

“Angelina said from the beginning that she felt she had to take action for the health of the family and is relieved that after their 8-week involvement, the DCFS is now satisfied the safeguards are put in place that will allow the children to heal.

Jolie requested full custody of the couple’s six children, Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8 when she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, in September.

Pitt responded by filing for joint legal and physical custody last week and an agreement was reached on Monday: the kids would live with their mother and have “therapeutic visits” with their father.

Being cleared of charges, however, could make Pitt’s case for joint custody easier in court.
