Uber driver kidnaps drunk woman and takes her to a motel where she was assaulted

An Uber driver was arrested on a charge of kidnapping after allegedly abducting an intoxicated woman and taking her to a motel, according to police in Maryland.

College Park police said that they have arrested 29-year-old Westagne Pierre, after being accused of picking up a young woman, and instead of taking her home, he took her to a motel, where he assaulted her.

Pierre has been charged with kidnapping, assault and fraudulent use of a credit card. He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $250.

According to the police investigation, Pierre picked up the victim at a bar in Washington DC, on Tuesday night. He first took the woman to her home in Virginia, but instead of leaving her there, he took her to the Budget Inn in College Park.

Once there, he checked into the motel, lifted the woman out of the car and took her into a room.

After some time, Pierre left the room and went to a nearby 7-Eleven, where he used the victim’s American Express card to make a $14 purchase.
