A convicted sex offender blackmailed girls into doing outrageous and sick things for his pleasure.
28-year-old Fabian Roy Meharry of Victoria, Australia, pleaded guilty to 62 child sexual offenses against 22 victims.
The court heard that Meharry asked girls as young as 11-years-old to perform sex acts on themselves.
He recorded the acts via a Skype webcam. He then warned the victims that he will publish the photos and videos to the Internet, where they will go viral if they did not comply with his demands.
Meharry asked some of his victims to perform sex acts with animals and other objects while he recorded them.
He also ordered one girl to have sex with her brother, the Victorian County Court heard.
The court also heard that Meharry met three of his victims in person and he performed sex acts on them.
One of those victims, a 14-year-old girl, told the court that Meharry knew all of her weaknesses and he used them against her.
The girl told the judge that she blamed herself for the incident and that she now suffers post traumatic stress. “I have never been made to feel so belittled or ashamed by anyone,” she said.
Judge Elizabeth Gaynor told the teenager that it was not her fault and then praised her for her bravery in giving evidence against the suspect.
Meharry is facing a long prison term as he was already a registered sex offender when he committed some of the crimes.
