Make quality service delivery your hallmark, EFCC officers urged

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC’s organizational support staff members on Thursday, 28th June, 2018 gets certification after under-going a four (4) day intensive personal development training at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja.


The Deputy Commandant, EFCC Academy Mr Shettima M.D, who awarded the certificates to the participants on behalf of the Commandant, EFCC Academy, Dr David Wodi Tukura in his remark, said that the Commission under the leadership of Ibrahim Magu, Ag, Chairman, EFCC is determined to ensure the continuous development of staff in order to prepare them for delivery of quality services.

He expressed gratitude to GIABA, EFCC Management, Trainers and Participants for a well coordinated course.

“Am highly impressed by the determination, seriousness and enthusiasm expressed by all of you who attended this training”, he said.

According to the Head, Career Development Unit, EFCC Academy, Mr Nasir Mohammed Musa, the training which is part of an on-going funded support to the EFCC by GIABA is titled “Personal Development For Middle Managers” of the Commission.


“The difference in this particular training from the previous training funded by GIABA is that the curriculum is updated to reflect current trends in organizations administrative services. We also have experts drawn from administrative Staff College of Nigeria, ASCON in addition to the EFCC Trainers in order to add more value to the program”, Musa said.

The External Cooperation department of the EFCC headed by Hadiza Gamawa in collaboration with the EFCC Academy is the coordinator of the funding for the implementation of the course content which is 100% packaged by the EFCC.

The training which is scheduled to hold in three Batches of 25 participants each, totaling 75 is designed to enhance Staff skills in areas such as PowerPoint presentation, Report Writing,  adherence to Code of Conducts and Stress Management.
