My name is Bendi, mostly known on social media as Bendi World.

What drew you to the music industry?

I have always love music from my young day, i grew up in a music family, so i  would say i was born with it.

How long have you been singing?

I have been singing since I was a child, I have always loved the choir and anything that produces beautiful sounds.

Who are you inspired by?

I’m inspired by so many gospel artist like Sinach, Tasha Cobbs, and many more.

Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?

Yes, there’s a song in my recent album titled INCREASED GRACE, the song name is exalted, the words of the songs communicate to my whole personality in music.

Do you collaborate with others? What is that process?

Yes, I have collaborated with many people, though some of them where not like featuring. When you listen to my song, they’re a lot of backup singers, I would say it’s an honour working with them because at the end of the day when you hear the song, you will be wowed because it was a well finished work because they were part of it. I have also featured one person on my album as of now but as time goes on I will feature more artist.

Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans

It’s been always love and so much excitements. Sometimes when I’m walking on the street, some fans will be like; are you Bendi? and I will says yes and they will tell me how they love my songs and how it inspires them.

What is your favorite part about this line of work? Your least favorite? Why?

My favourite part about been a gospel artist is that i get to make an impact in people’s life, that’s the kind of impact that is lasting. As for me I see my music as songs that when you listen to them, it blesses you and impact something meaningful into you.

Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?

Yes of course, I think every musician have too.

Tell me about your favorite performance venues

I would say church gathering. These are people that before you come on stage they’re already prepared to receive something from what you are about to communicate, something that might be solution to their problems, a song that is worth listening over and over again.

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?

I will say first you have to have a purpose because following one’s footsteps is more like you want to live in that person visions and goals but the thing is that everyone has different purposes and goals, so, the thing is that you have to find your purpose and why you want to be into music, once you have figured it out, that strengthens you and push you to achieve your goals.

What are the plans for the future?

Well, I’m releasing exalted video this Sunday and it is one of my favourite song on the album. In future i hope to feature more musicians, bless more souls. knowing that my songs will inspire more people in future makes me to do more.
