Justice Tsoho assumes office as Federal High Court’s Acting Chief Judge

Justice John Tsoho has eventually been sworn-in as the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court.

The swearing-in ceremony saw the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Muhammad administer the oath office on Justice Tsoho, who succeeds Justice Adamu Kafarati, who retired on July 25 on attaining 65 years.

The ceremony eventually held around 2.40pm after the confusion, witnessed earlier on Friday, was resolved.

It was learnt that the event earlier scheduled for 10am had to be shifted to 2.30p mowing to lapses in communication between the Supreme Court and the Presidency.

The event was witnessed by former CJN, Justice Mahmud Mohammed,Justice Kafarati, Justice Binta Nyako, Justice Mojisola Olatoregun-Ishola, former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Michael Aondoakaa (SAN) among others.
