The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has congratulated the Asagba of Asaba, HRM Obi Prof. Chike Edozien, on the occasion of his 95th birthday.
In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Senator Omo-Agege noted that the monarch’s 29 years reign as the 13th Asagba of Asaba has witnessed tremendous improvement in community relations, peace and prosperity of his domain, Asaba.
He applauded the royal father, a Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) for his exemplary leadership in piloting the affairs of his people.
“Since ascending the throne in 1991, His Majesty’s wise and compassionate leadership have brought respect to the great Asaba Kingdom and happiness to its people who are blessed with the reign of a beloved King.
“May God continue to bestow divine blessings of health and happiness upon His Majesty and the people of Asaba.
“We also pray for His Majesty’s long reign and continued prosperity of his people” he said.
