Photos: IGP visits affected Police station during protest in Imo


The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, yesterday, went on inspection tour to the Police Stations and formations affected by during the #EndSARS protest which was hijacked by hoodlums to cause mayhem in Imo State.
The IG who was accompanied by Senator Hope Uzodimma, expressed displeasure over the dastard act which was a calculated attempt by the hoodlums to dislodge the security agency before embarking on their nefarious activities.


Mr Adamu stressed that the force intelligence will fish out those behind the arson and stealing of arms and ammunitions from all the Police stations and formations across the state and the nation at large.
Senator Hope Uzodimma assured the IGP of his administration’s readiness to collaborate with the force on this course and in security of lives and properties.
Uzodimma further appealed to the officers and men of the force, Imo state command not to be deterred or demoralized by the incident of the past weeks but be assured that the shared prosperity administration will look into the welfare of the police and speedily see to the building of a new police stations in the affected areas as well as offset hospital bills of the affected police officers.
