Sanwo-Olu presents 2021 budget proposal, promises to abolish pension for ex-Govs, deputies

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday presented the Year 2021 Budget at the Lagos State House of Assembly Chambers, Alausa Ikeja.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, in a statement on Monday, said, “The budget session is expected to focus on advancing the T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda of the state government.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday announced his plans to repeal the Public Office Holder (Payment of Pension Law 2007), which provides for payment of pension and other entitlements to former Governors and their Deputies.
He made this known while presenting the 2021 budget to the Lagos State House of Assembly
