Stop parading Chidinma for media trial, House of Reps tells Police

The House of Representatives on Tuesday asked the police to stop parading Miss Chidinma Ojukwu accused of killing the Chief Executive Officer of SuperTV Usifo Ataga.

The House also asked the police to carry out in-depth investigation into the case and stop allowing her to grant media interviews, subjecting her to media trial
The House resolution stemmed from a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Rep. Tolulope Sadipe drawing the attention of the parliament to the frequent parade of the accused by the police and subjecting her to social media trial.
