Omo-Agege commiserates with Senator Bashiru over mother-in-law’s demise

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has commiserated with the Chairman, Senate on Media and Public Affairs, Senator (Dr.) Surajudeen Ajibola Bashiru over the demise of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Susanna Gladys Aso (née Osuedi). 

In a condolence message to the Senate Spokesperson, Senator Omo-Agege said Mama Aso impacted many lives positively having served as a teacher and school principal. 

He prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. 

His words: “While mourning her exit, there is ample cause to remain thankful to God for her productive life, having served as a teacher and school principal for so many years thereby impacting many lives so positively.

“Worthy of note too, is the fact that she left behind children who have turned out to be high achievers in their various careers and with eminent spouses including your very Distinguished self.

“As you conclude preparations towards giving her a befitting farewell, my family and constituents join multitudes of other Nigerians in praying for her soul’s eternal repose and strength to enable the family carry on.

“May we all be blessed to impact the younger generation so positively the way Mama did through her chosen calling”.
