…AS PRESIDENT BUHARI OFFICIALLY RECEIVES HIM INTO THE PARTY.
The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nkem Okeke who defected from APGA into the All Progressives Congress weeks ago, was today, formally received into APC at the State House by President Buhari.
Dr. Nkem Okeke is amongst the critical stakeholders of other parties welcomed into the APC by Senator Hope Uzodimma, who is the Chairman, Campaign Council of the Anambra Guber Election Flag Bearer, Sen. Andy Uba.
Recall that during the inauguration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma as the Chairman, Campaign Council of Sen. Andy Uba, he made promises to bring in critical stakeholders into the APC fold before the Anambra Guber election to hold on November 6.
Speaking shortly after meeting President Buhari, elated Dr. Nkem Okeke expressed confidence that come Nov. 6, APC would take over Anambra State.
He said his defection was necessitated by his desire to join in mobilizing and getting Anambra connected to the center.
