The Oyo State Executive Council met on Friday, December 3, 2021 and approved the reconstruction of the 76.7 km Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Road.
The contract was awarded to 2 different companies to ensure that the work is completed within 15 months. The contract sum is N43.5 billion.
The first half of the road from Iseyin-Apewo Village (38.1km) with a 65m span bridge was awarded to Kopek Construction Ltd for N20.1B. While the second half from Apewo Village–Ogbomoso (38.57km) with a 45m bridge and underpass was awarded to Craneburg Construction Ltd for N23.4B.
