Buhari greets Senator Felix Kolawole Bajomo on his 80th birthday

President Muhammadu Buhari has joined family and friends to celebrate with Sen. Felix Kolawole Bajomo on his 80th birthday, January 7, 2022, congratulating the lawmaker and administrator on the milestone, heralded by many years of service to the nation.

President Buhari noted the contributions of Sen. Bajomo to the economic development of the country before joining politics, working variously as Managing Director, Commercial Trust Bank; Executive Director, Union Bank; Executive Director, Savannah Bank, and Chairman of the Federal Housing Authority and holding the position of President, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

As the Senator turns an octogenarian, the President believed the experiences and skills acquired over many years in private and public service will always be relevant, especially the exceptional leadership ability that he displays in building institutions, managing people and resources, and remaining focused on goals.

President Buhari felicitated with Senator Bajomo’s constituency, Ogun West, members of the National Assembly and all political associates on the landmark age, praying that the Almighty God will increase the celebrant in good health and wisdom.
