Ogbulu Chindinma Pearl: Lagos socialite arraigned for distributing petrol at party

Lagos socialite, Ms. Ogbulu Chindinma Pearl, has been arraigned before an Oshodi Special Offences (Mobile) Court for distributing petrol at a party.

Ogbulu was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Kehinde Ogundare on Monday on a four-count charge of distributing petrol as souvenir at a party on March 5, 2022 at Havillah Event Centre, Lagos.
The offences violate section 251(1), 168 (1), 244 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 and Section 195 (2)(b) of the Environmental Management Protection Law of Lagos State 2017.
The defendant was granted bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.
Chief Magistrate Ogundare ordered that the addresses of thesureties be verified and must present three years tax clearance paid to Lagos State government.
The matter was adjourned till March 24, 2022 for trial.
