The Environment Committee of the Assembly of the Republic convened today under the chairmanship of Zorlu Töre, President of the Assembly of the Republic, as per the founding directive.
According to the written statement made by the Assembly of the Republic, the Environmental Committee of the Assembly of the Republic addressed the issue of “Environmental Problems and Pollution of the Seas” as per the agenda and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the stakeholders invited to the meeting on the subject.
Officials from Famagusta District Governorate, Kyrenia District Governorate, Biologists Association, Basic Health Services Department, Cyprus Environment Platform, KEMA Foundation, Forestry Department and Chamber of Forest Engineers and former Forestry Department Director Altay Fırat attended the committee meeting.
Committee member UBP Deputy Yasemi Öztürk and UBP Deputy Sadık Gardiyanoğlu attended the meeting of the Environment Committee convened under the chairmanship of Zorlu Töre, President of the Assembly of the Republic.
