European University of Lefke Ranks Third Most Preferred Among TRNC Universities

Leading the change and development in Northern Cyprus higher education, European University of Lefke continues to rise in 2022 with its strengthened academic staff, internationally accredited programs, increasing number of students and newly opened departments.

European University of Lefke (EUL) once again achieved a great success according to the 2022 Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) placement results. Last year, 1512 students settled in EUL, where 2021 students were placed. Continuing to grow steadily, EUL achieved a 34% increase in the number of students placed compared to last year.

While the number of students placed in EUL this year was the highest in the last 5 years, 1171 of the total 2021 students were placed in undergraduate programs and 850 in associate degree programs. In 2022, quota occupancy rates were 76.9% for undergraduate programs, 83.3% for associate degree programs, and 79.5% in total. This corresponds to an increase of 21.9% compared to the previous year.

EUL, which has achieved the success of being the 3rd most preferred university among TRNC universities in the statement made by the university, has developed infrastructure in recent years, strengthened academic staff, correct promotion strategies, student satisfaction-oriented studies, the price policy it has implemented, and international accreditations that are the registration of education quality.

It was stated that the successes achieved in this point led to this result. Expressing that the development at EUL and the increase in the number of students are very important for the Lefke region, the statement thanked all academic and administrative staff who contributed to this success.
