The uncle of the child, ME, who was arrested on charges of attempted sexual rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault against a child under the age of 16, was brought before the court.
Police officer Ozan KuÅŸak, who gave sworn testimony in the court, conveyed the facts. The police stated that ME, who was in the presence, was accused of attempted sexual rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault against a child under the age of 16.
The police claimed that between 2017 and 2022, the 12-year-old girl, who was the niece of the suspect ME, attempted to sexually assault and sexually abuse the child after repeatedly sexually assaulting the child. The police said that ME was arrested pursuant to a court order and in his voluntary deposition, he did not admit the crimes, but simply sat on his lap with the compassion of her uncle and kissed him on the cheeks. The police said that the child’s statement was taken in the presence of social workers and that he had sexually assaulted his niece from the age of 7.
The police stated that, according to the first detections, on the suspect’s mobile phone, videos about incest were watched on search engines, and in the child’s statement, she testified that her uncle had made her watch these videos. Police said the suspect made a statement and said he denied the charges.
The police stated that the issue is a serious issue and statements that need to be taken, and demanded that the suspect be kept in police custody for 7 days.
Judge Hazal Hacımulla, evaluating the testimony given in his presence, ordered the suspect to be kept in police custody for 7 days.
