We will collaborate with Turkey – Orhan Tolun

Orhan Tolun, Chairman of the Cyprus Turkish Association of Tourism and Travel Agencies, stated that the TÜRSAB visit was very productive and that they will work with TÜRSAB to re-create the touristic products offered to the Turkish market.

Stating that they went to the meeting held at the TÜRSAB headquarters in Istanbul on Monday with the aim of “getting the support of TÜRSAB to expand its promotional activities”.

Tolun stated that the need to reshape the tourism product offered from the TRNC was clearly put on the table at the meeting.

We have decided to prioritize the reshaping of our tourism product in a way that is suitable for the Turkish market before the promotion activities are expanded.”

KITSAB Chairman of the Board Orhan Tolun shared the following information about the work to be done on this issue:

“These products will be shaped by experts and opinion leaders who shape the Turkish market under our guidance and who have successfully done similar studies before, thus bringing hundreds of thousands of tourists to different destinations.

Thus, we know that products that will be in demand in the Turkish market will emerge. TÜRSAB will also contribute to our promotional activities and be a guide.

Thus, the work of sales agents will be facilitated and tourists with different expectations will be able to come from Turkey to the TRNC.”

KITSAB President Tolun said, “These studies are of course important, but another important issue for us is the development of relations with TÜRSAB” and underlined the importance of TÜRSAB-KITSAB relations.

Tolun said, “TÜRSAB is the leading organization of Turkish tourism. He made great contributions to the development of Turkish Cypriot tourism. It is our duty to ensure that this contribution continues by keeping our relations alive and productive.

We were also very pleased with the interest we received. For this reason, I openly thank the President of TÜRSAB, Mr. Firuz Bağlıkaya, and his friends in the presence of the public.

We will continue to do everything we can to improve this relationship.”
