Nurses and Midwives Union organises basic life support, newborn awareness training

Cyprus Turkish Nurses and Midwives Union added a new one to its regular trainings and organized Basic Life Support and Newborn Awareness training for its members.

Cyprus Turkish Nurses and Midwives Union, Cyprus International University (CIU) organized Basic Life Support and Newborn Awareness training for a group of seventy people.

In a written statement made by the President of the Union, Ali Özgöçmen stated that the main goal of education and all other studies is to train more successful nurses and midwives and to increase the quality of health services offered to the public for these purposes.

In his statement, Özgöçmen said, “We provide cooperation in the training organized to contribute to the development of our members, nurses and midwives so that our people can receive better quality health services.

Our professors, who contributed to CIU as instructors, are Asst. Assoc. Dr. Nurcan Bilgic, Exp. Nurse Elif İlkan, Prm. Kadir Çekiç, our union training unit, our participating members and all those who contributed.”
